Granite
Granite is an igneous rock formed by magma, it can be found all over the world deep within the earths crust. Granite usually has a medium to coarse grain texture and due to differing chemistry and mineralogy it can come in varying colours from pinks and greys to blacks; granite is an extremely durable product and has a natural beauty second to none.
Marble
Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate materials from sedimentary carbonate rocks i.e. limestone. The characteristic swirls and colours are due to impurities within the sediment such as clay, slit and iron oxides. Marble like granite can come in a large variety of colours. Marble, although it is available in more spectacular colours, unlike granite, it is a softer structure making it less durable than granite and therefore only suitable for limited applications.
Quartz stone
Quartz Stone is a manmade engineered stone, the base ingredients are usually mixed to a ratio of 90/95% quartz with the remaining consisting of dye, aggregates & resins. Quartz Stone have a infinate range of colours, an is a very durable product.
